Vessel Traffic Service
DF systems used in VTS applications are usually remote controlled and operate in a network with other systems. Often, three or more DF systems are used together for triangulation. Beside the performance the price becomes more and more important.
Vessel Traffic Service (VTS)
Supports the control of vessel traffic close to the shore. Vessels can be detected while they are transmitting. If there is more than one DF in use, a location is possible by triangulation.
